Bio

Maureen was born on August 6, 1971 in Springfield, KY. As a child she attended ST. Dominic Elementary School and Bethlehem High School. Immediately after high school graduation she started nursing school. She graduated from Danville School of Health Occupations in 1990 with her LPN and Midway College in 1994 earning her RN. Maureen had decided to follow in her mother and grandmother steps as they both were nurses. As a Child Maureen spent many hours in the nursing home where her mother worked. She always knwe that geriatric nursing was her calling. Maureen started her nursing career in long term care in 1990 and has never looked back. She served many roles in the nursing home from floor nurse to unit manager before becoming a director of nursing in 1997. She is also a Certified Wound Care Associate and Certified Resident Assessment Coordinator. Maureen has been married to Jamie Curtsinger Sice August 14, 1992. They have 3 wonderful children: Jacob, Joshua and Mary Katherine. She is a lifeling member of ST. Dominic Catholic Church in Springfield, Ky. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering her Service to her church and local community theater. Maureen and her family enjoy traveling especially visting theme parks. She and her family recently took their 8th trip to Disney World. One of Maureen’s favorite quotes is: ” All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to prusue them.” Walt Disney
